    <answer label="Bob Gibson">RHP, b. 1935.  One of the most intimidating players in baseball history, he won 251 games, two Cy Young Awards, nine Gold Gloves in a row (1965-1973), and was named to the Hall in 1981.</answer>
    <answer label="Rollie Fingers">RHP, b. 1946.  Physical appearances and styles-of-play unite these two players.  Both sported unmistakable moustaches.  Both are Hall of Famers.  Among other things, Holmes was known for writing pithy and direct opinions.  Fingers was one of the greatest pitchers in the game's history who also earned his meal ticket with great efficiency.  He was a closer, who needed very few pitches to get his job done.  At most, he would hurl only two innings per appearance.  His career foreshadowed the rise of the modern reliever, which is now a critical part of any team’s pitching staff.</answer>
